The Nakaiolo Brothers team from Levuka, Nabukelevu Kadavu will play for the fourth time at the 42nd Fiji Bitter Marist 7s on Friday and Saturday.

Coach Ifiremi Kaukirewa said the team had prepared well for the annual event scheduled at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

“The preparation is good, we have been training for three weeks,” he said

“We played at the Nasinu and Uluinakau 7s tournaments as part of our build-up for the Marist 7s.”

The team reached the Bowl semifinal of the Uluinakau 7s at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori yesterday.

Kaukirewa said they aimed to achieve a better result this weekend

“We will try to reach the Cup quarterfinals,” Kaukirewa said

He applauded the assistance of the villagers who have been supporting them throughout.

‘They made it possible for us to take part in the annual event for four years now,” Kaukirewa said.

They are in Pool 13 with First Light Taveuni, Namataga Young Brothers and Koio Rugby Wailoku.
