The Fijian Warriors sealed their dominance with a thumping 57-7 win over Tonga in the last match of the 2018 World Rugby Pacific Challenge.

Unbeaten since 2016, it has been a one team show for the Senirusi Seruvakula–coached side in three years.

After outmuscling Samoa A 33-21 and Junior Japan 28-3, the Warriors really made a statement after leading 43-0 at halftime at the ANZ Stadium in Suva yesterday.

This is an outstanding achievement by our future Flying Fijians embracing the development pathway by the Fiji Rugby Union.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and president of the FRU promised exciting future ahead during the Fiji Rugby Awards Night in Nadi on Friday.

And yesterday he watched as the Mosese Voka-captained side demolished the Tongans in a powerful display.

Apart from the senior players Voka, Serupepeli Vularika, Albert Tuisue and Viliame Rarasea, the rest of the team who were Under-23 put on a performance which was a delight to watch.

Definitely our national sport is in good hands and a bright future.

Props:

This is a position that we are weak on in the past but Eroni Mawi, Luke Tagi and Asaeli Sorovaki showed what they are capable of.

Hooker:

Veremalua Vugakoto and Mesulame Dolokoto are quite promising.

Lock Forwards

Rarasea and Tevita Ratuva have the size and physique to be part of the Flying Fijians in the not too distant future.

Flankers

Voka, Tuisue and Temo Mayanavanua showed that they are ready to step-up.

Centres

Blockbusting performances from Penaia Kunabuli and Waisale Urabuta.

Wings

Speed to burn out wide for Asaeli Tuivuaka and Veramu Dikidikilati,.

Full-back

Inia Tawalo- Good vision and a very elusive and running fullback. Scored in all three games, sound in defence.
