Radrodro Asked To Step Down As Row Escalates

Chairman of the Naitasiri Rugby Union Aseri Radrodro has been asked to resign as the union row escalates.
This was confirmed in a Facebook Post by his wife, Sainiana Radrodro.
It follows the resignation of Coach Koli Sewabu and general secretary Nimilote Naisorotabua. Sewabu said he quit because of changes introduced by Radrodro. Naisorotabua said he was resigning because if work commitments.
It is understood that Radrodro was told verbally to resign by a provincial official.
But Radrodro, it is understood, said he would only resign if the directive was in a formal letter. He would also resign at the proper forum, at the annual general meeting where he was elected.
The internal turmoil has threatened to derail the province’s preparation for the Skipper Cup competition next month.
