Murder accused Timoci Tupou Lolohea yesterday pleaded not guilty to murdering his de facto partner on March 20, 2017, in Nasinu.

The accused is represented by Legal Aid Commission lawyer Litiana Ratidara while State lawyer Siteri Navia appeared for the Prosecution.

Ms Ratidara was advised to get instructions from Lolohea for the possibility of taking a progressive approach.

Ms Ratidara has been given until April 6, 2018 to get instructions about taking a progressive approach.

The accused was further remanded until then.

Trial is expected to take place between April 30, 2018 to May 11, 2018.

The State will be calling five witnesses during the trial.
