Water Disruptions During Easter Weekend
Water Authority of Fiji is kindly advising its customers to store and use water wisely.

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers in the Central, Eastern and Western Divisions that water supply would be disrupted as a result of the planned repairs and maintenance by the Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) at its Wailoa Power Station during the Easter weekend.

The standby generators in WAF’s pumping stations and treatment plants will be operated to produce water during the power disruptions. However, the amount of water produced would be less than that under normal circumstances because of the limitation with generator capacities depending on the  magnitude of the power disruption.

Therefore, the Authority is kindly advising its customers living in elevated areas to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this period.

Water carting trucks will be on standby to service the affected areas as and when the need arises.

The Authority highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers.
