Rainbow Pride Foundation (RPF), members got together and marked International Transgender Day of Visibility on Saturday.

The foundation’s trans activist and Lead for Transgender programming Amasai Jeke said that this was a time to celebrate transgender people around the world and their courage to live openly and authentically.  He said this was a way to express themselves as they truly were, and their valuable contribution to society at large.

RPFs executive director, Isikeli Vulavou, said for them it was a day to celebrate the lives and achievements of transgender people across Fiji and the Pacific and also recognise the work of Trans Organizations in paving the way for the younger generations of people
