Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama’s three- day tour to the Northern Division this week has been postponed until further notice.

The tour was to take place from April 4-6.

However, according to the Government because of the flooding and bad weather affecting parts of Fiji, as a result of Tropical Cyclone Josie, the Prime Minister’s visit was rescheduled.

Mr Bainimarama’s three-day tour was planned for Nabouwalu in Bua and Savusavu in Cakaudrove to open the new Legal Aid Commission offices.

His visit schedule included the opening of the National Fire Authority Station and Ratu Ganilau Park Pavilion in Savusavu.

The tour itinerary included a special session allocated for consultations on the sugar industry in Labasa.

Details of the rescheduled tour will again be provided on a later date.

The Prime Minister’s Office apologised and regrets the inconvenience caused.
