Team Fiji bowls triples team lost both their games at the Broadbeach Lawn Bowls Centre yesterday.

Kushal Pillay, Arun Kumar and Semesa Naiseruvati lost their first game to Jersey 20-10 and were later walloped by hosts Australia 28-3.

Nairai, Lomaiviti native Naiseruvati believes there is no turning back for him.

“This is my first Commonwealth games, i started playing lawn bowls in 2003 where we won four out of four in the 2003 Pacific Games in Fiji.

“ There is no turning back for me Commonwealth Games comes every four years, this is the lifetime opportunity and we just have to give our best, we have done the hard yards, rubbing shoulders with bigger countries,” Naiseruvati said.

Meanwhile Litia Tikoisuva beat Pinki of India  21-12 in her third round of single event and lost to Jo Edwards of New Zealand 21-10 in her fourth round
