Team Fiji bowling rep Arun Kumar lost his first singles game 21-11 to Krishna Xalxo of India in his first game.
But he staged a fightback to beat Kenya 21-5.
Women pairs team of Doreen O’Connor and Sheral Mar beat Tonga 21-11 but lost to Canada 30-7.
Kumar said; “It’s a good experience for me playing against top teams like New Zealand, England, they are all world champions,” he said.
He will play his last match against Jamaica today.
“It will not be an easy game and the Jamaican has beaten New Zealand and England reps but I will give my best shot.”
