With 79 days remaining for Fiji to host the Investec Super Rugby clash between Pulse Energy Highlanders and Gallagher Chiefs, Fiji Sports Council chief executive Litiana Loabuka is calling the public to start buying tickets.

Loabuka yesterday said they have started making sure all logistics boxes have been ticked and are assuring the public that it would bigger than the previous years.

She added that they would soon be launching their campaigns and special promotions will be in place for the public to take advantage of.

“Having done this for the last two years I can confirm that we are definitely with the team making sure that we are trying to make it bigger and better than before,” Loabuka said.

“We will be launching our campaigns and we will start to roll out TV ads and also through radio.

“There will be competition for the chant on social media for all our local Fijians. It’s going to lead the way for prizes like jerseys and tickets that will be given out.

“The ticket sales have been going and we continue to spread the message not to wait till the last minute and for people to get their tickets whenever they can.”

Loabuka further added that the Pulse Energy Highlanders are the host team so they will have local engagements to attend while in the country.

“Because it’s the Highlanders first trip here to Fiji, we have some cultural segments lined-up and a few local engagements like visiting schools, hospitals and that will be finalised with the team as well.”
