A 32-year-old farmer of Vunimako in Seaqaqa, Macuata Province, is dead after a tree fell on him yesterday.
This was confirmed by Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro.
“At around 11am at Vunimako, the farmer was cutting trees with a chainsaw when the tree fell on him,” Ms Naisoro said.
“The victim was with two others when the incident happened.
“He was rushed to the Seaqaqa Health Centre where he was pronounced dead.”
She said investigation into this continues.
