The Savenaca Aria-coached Jack’s Nadi Jets aim to start with a bang when the 2018 Skipper Cup Premiership kicks off on Saturday.

The jetsetters play defending champions BLK Nadroga at Prince Charles Park, Nadi at 3pm.

Nadi have retained senior players like Captain Samu Saqiwa, Ron Katonivere, Jock Luita, Luke Navuwai, Orisi Erenavula, Maikeli Mudu and Peni Naruma.

The side is training under the watchful eyes of assistant coaches Daki Nasego and Vuata Naresia.

“Compared to last year we have a wider range of players to choose from,” Jets manager Lasaro Rabaka said,

“We have 40 players to choose from and we aim to start with a bang against Nadroga.

“Our coaches and players know how Nadroga plays and we have a plan.

“We will just try to improve from where we left off last year and there is no better team to play in the first round than Nadroga team.”

Rabaka urged the Vanua of Nadi to come out and support the team.

“We have something in store against Nadroga and fans need to be there to be part of the big day.”
