Car carriers Trans Future 6 and Tamela docked at the Kings Wharf, Suva over the weekend to dispose another load of second hand cars.

The two carrier vessels were the sixth carrier vessels to have disposed about 1500 second hand vessels to date at the capital city in four months.

Earlier this year Euro Spirit, Trans Future 5 and Triton Ace have each disposed second hand cars while Euro Spirit had arrived twice.

Euro Spirit during its two trips discharged more than 500 second hand vehicles. Trans Future 5 and Triton Ace brought in close to 300 second vehicles each.

The Panama owned Ro-ro cargo vessel, Trans Future 6 was built in 2006 had brought in more than 100 cars over the weekend while Tamela offloaded the same number.

Fiji Ports Corporation Limited was tight lipped when asked to disclose the local agents.

The vessels according to the International Maritime Traffic Movement were bound for Japan and are expected to arrive at Japan next Friday.
