Nine winners of the Fiji Sun’s Easter weekend promotion winners were able to walk away with a variety of prizes yesterday.

Sudesh Mani, originally of Galao, in Rakiraki was able to walk away with voucher for a weekend at the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort.

The 32-year-old, who is a teacher at Marist Brothers High School, was delighted when he got his voucher at the Fiji Sun office at Gorrie Street in Suva.

He said he used to take part in various competitions held by the Fiji Sun and was confident that he would win something in this competition.

“After winning this competition I have started looking for other competitions to enter,” Mr Mani said.

Kusma Mishra, of Nasinu, said she was happy and excited about winning two prizes. She said she would take her husband with her to spend two nights at the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort as well as the Arts Village day excursion, which she won.

“I would like to thank Fiji Sun for such competitions for people. I never thought I would win, but I really wanted this,” Ms Mishra said.

Another winner Krishna Nair, who is originally from Wailevu in Labasa, said this was not his first time to win this competition, but he was excited that he had won something for his grandchildren.

“Being a retired Police officer my day starts with Fiji Sun and I always enter such competitions because I enjoy my retirement,” he said.

Fiji Sun General Manager Advertising and Business Development Rachna Lal said the Easter promotion was the newspaper’s way of giving something back to their readers.

“We were very happy with the response we received for the promotion and are in fact encouraged to continue having more promotions,” she said.

“We also like to thank our partners Outrigger Fiji Resort, Yatu Lau Group, Bakewell Cakes as well as CJ Patel Group. Without them this promotion may not have been possible.

“The Fiji Sun assures our readers that we will have more promotions and big giveaways for all our readers,” Ms Lal said.
