Former national rep Temafa Yalimaiwai aims to win gold at the Fiji Swimming Long Course Age National Competition at the Damodar City Aquatic Centre.

Temafa said the competition, which started yesterday,will be part of his preparations for the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa.

“There is a lot of expectation for me to do well during this competition as I will also take part in the Oceania Swimming Championship next month in Papua New Guinea.”

The Year 11 student of Marist Brothers High School wishes to make a mark in swimming.

“I will continue with swimming and see how far it takes me,” he said
