The volume of bulk offloaded by the 21,561 tonne bulk carrier Magpie SW stayed for a fortnight before departure.

The vessel is finally leaving Suva’s Kings Wharf on Friday for Tauranga, New Zealand, after offloading cargo.

The 180-metre vessel had arrived from Adelaide, Australia a fortnight ago according to local shipping agent Swire Shipping.

The vessel is owned by China owned Navigation Company.

The China Navigation Company (CNCo) is the wholly-owned, deep-sea shipping arm of the Swire group.

Headquartered in Singapore, the company has branches in 15 countries operating a global network of multipurpose liner, dry bulk and bulk logistics shipping services through its three business divisions; Swire Shipping, Swire Bulk and Swire Bulk Logistics.
