Stallions Meet Highlanders In The Clash Of The Titans

The two top teams after round three of the Skipper Cup Pre­miership clash in the feature match at con Saturday.

Dubbed as the clash of the titans, BLK Nadroga face unbeaten QAQA Naitasiri at 3pm.

The Highlanders lead the table on 13points but that could change on Saturday with Nadroga, Suva and Rewa all on 10pts.

“We know Naitasiri is the team to beat and we need to up our game against the Highlanders at their home turf,” BLK captain Ulaiasi Lawavou said.

He added that they need a bonus point victory so that they can book a home semifinal.

“We are preparing well so that we can win the clash of the titans.

Some new players who could play on Saturday are Pio Mua, Josese Kurokavu, Jone Koroiduadua, San­aila Nahuto, Samuela Laqai and Kalivati Volavola.

Rewa will play Namosi at Thom­son Park while Suva host Navosa at the ANZ Stadium.

Namosi can’t afford to lose out again as they might face relegation.

Ro Alivereti Doviverata-coached Rewa team must continue to defy the odds against the Mosese Voka captained team.

Warwick Navosa will need a huge effort after the 62-0 drubbing by Na­droga last week.

The chiefly intervention of the Davutukia and Vusu households has unified the team again and they now camping at Votua.
