VIPs Will Be Part Of Event

Instructors from regional disciplined services undergoing training at the Fiji Police Academy in Nasova will train with some well-known people (VIPs) in the country.
This was confirmed by training co-ordinator Samantha Marra.
She said the training co-ordinating team sent a request to the President’s Office to train with the President.
The training instructor’s course, she said, was the first of its kind with participants from the Cook Islands, Fiji, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, and Tonga and included military, police and corrections services representatives.
After the four-week course the instructors will be awarded certificates and will qualify to instruct their own forces in physical training, improving their fitness and health.
The instructors for the course, she said, were from the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF), Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
She said more courses on health and wellbeing would be conducted in Fiji.
