Toroti Aims For Improvement
Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s halfback Mereula Toroti hopes to improve her performance in future tournaments.
The 22 year old from Nasekau in Navosa returns with the Fijiana side from Canada last night and hopes to spend time with her family.
“I have made few mistakes but I hope to improve my game in the future, it has been a good experience for me being a young player,” Toroti said.
“I want to thank our team management especially our coach Iliesa Tanivula for their commitment and sacrifice, “she said.
Being a young player and after making her third debut at the Langford Sevens, Toroti said she was proud to represent the nation.
Meanwhile the Fijiana side bowed out in the seventh-place play-off at the Langford 7s after losing to England 29-24 to finish in eighth place.
