Six Reps To Miss Stallions Fixture v. Namosi

Six top players in the BLK Nadroga team will not be on the run on side to face QAQA Namosi in the round five of the Skipper Cup Premiership this Saturday.
The players have joined the Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors squad in preparation for the Nations Cup in Uruguay against the Argentina XV, Emerging Italy and Uruguay.
The players include Jone Navori (flanker), Ifereimi Tovilevu (centre), Sailosi Dawai (lock), Timoci Sauvoli, Vasikali Mudu (flanker) and suspended Eroni Vasiteri (centre).
Nadroga Rugby Union president Jikoibau Matawalu said it would not be a big worry for the team as they aim to finish in top four and defend the Skipper Premiership silverware.
He said, “Nadroga will be without their six key men and the team is wary of Namosi new look side after three consecutive losses.”
“We see Namosi as the current Farebrother holder and it going to be a battle of champions, Skipper cup holder versus Farebrother trophy holder.
“The biggest challenge for us is the urgency that Namosi has to win in order to keep their chances for Top four and event top eight because bottom two is relegated to Vanua Cup.”
The Stallions will be in full force with the inclusion of winger Pio Mua, full back Josese Kurokava, first five eighth Jiuta Lutumailagi, Tomasi Naiduki, Sakiusa Gavidi and will be led by lock Rupeni Nasiga.
The match kicks off at 3pm at Lawaqa Park.
