NEWWORLD IGA Suva Netball Association new officials were introduced to the club reps during the special general meeting last night.

Newly elected president Gabrieli Qoro said he was ready to take on challenge.

Qoro added the special general meeting also discussed the adoption of the new constitution and the by-laws for Suva Netball.

“Suva has one the highest numbers of clubs and I am ready to take on the new role,” the former national netball coach said.

“The meeting is to verify and confirm with the club members about the elected officials for 2018-19.

“The meeting confirmed those who were elected during the AGM in April.”

Qoro said the four new clubs are Congo Waimanu, Tacirua Netters, Dakua Netters and Cawaci Alumni Netters.

NEWWORLD IGA SNA currently has 16 registered clubs with 68 teams.

New officials: Gabriel Qoro (president), Tima Vulimailaucala (vice-president), Lily Erasito (treasurer), Lusi Rokoura (secretary),  committee members- Vasiti Vugakoto, Bernadette Daurewa, Una Rokoura, Litia Naiteqe, Samuela Veileba, Viti Lilo, Unaisi Waqa, Alumeci Sachs and Georgina Lasaqa.
