RKS Face QVS In Sila

Ratu Kadavulevu School play Queen Victoria School in the Fiji Secondary Schools Coca-Cola Zero Deans Under-18 match tomorrow at Sila Central School.
The defending champions of all grades began their campaign on a high note defeating Lelean Memorial School 18-13 at Ratu Cakobau Park last week.
Assistant principal Walesi Soqoiwasa said defending the title would be hard and it starts with traditional rivals QVS.
“We have a big task ahead to defend our titles in the Fiji Secondary Schools Coke Zero Deans competitions,“ Soqoiwasa said.
“It is easy to win but it very hard to defend the title as all the schools are gunning for us. We will try to win for the second time and that is a challenge to us.
“We know QVS is a strong team and one of our main competitors so the coaches have a plan in place to use the players that did not travel to Japan for the Sanix World Youth Rugby tournament.”
Soqoiwasa said they will be focusing on all grades and will try to make a clean sweep of all the grades this year.
U18 captain Viliame Sokiveta said after winning the Sanix Youth World Youth Rugby Champion Trophy, nothing is impossible for the boys from Delainakaikai.
The 16-year old from Cautata, Bau in Tailevu said the key to the win is working together.
“If the Fiji 7s team can win the gold medal at the Rio Olympics, we can achieve the same feat on the local front,” Sokiveta said.
