More Offices for Red Cross Up North

Two more Red Cross offices will open soon in the Northern Division.
The opening of the branch offices in Nabouwalu and Rabi is part of the $1.15 million project funded by the Australian government.
Fiji Red Cross director-general Filipe Nainoca says the new offices in the division will boost their work, presence and reach in the division.
“For the Fiji Red Cross, this project has built four offices throughout the Northern division (in Labasa, Savusavu, Nabouwalu and Rabi) and has comprehensively changed our infrastructure, capacity and response capability throughout the Northern Division,” Mr Nainoca said.
“Even more exciting for us is that this project does not stand alone. It is part of an integrated development approach that we are doing with our programmes.
“This will enable us to better carry out our programmes by coordinating the work of our branch executives and programme managers increasing the efficiency of implementing our vision of building a resilient Fiji by building resilient communities,” he said.
