The Rewa rugby team will be out to maintain their winning momentum in the Skipper Cup Premiership competition.

This Saturday, they travel to take on point’s table leaders Suva at the ANZ Stadium

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, Rewa Rugby manager Ro Sakiusa Secake said coming to the sixth round of competition the team still need to keep up with the momentum.

“The players are preparing well and all that they are being told is to respect and honour each other,” he said.

“That is what that keeps the team bond strong all the time.

“We will be treating every game as the final and will be looking forward to our match against Suva this weekend.”

Rewa pipped Nadi 24-23 at Burebasaga District School ground last Saturday.

Ro Sakiusa added that they are working on areas they need to improve on before they take the field on Saturday.

“We’ll be respecting our opponent during the game as they have been in the Skipper Cup for more than a year now.”

Ro Sakiusa has called on Rewa supporters to come out in numbers and support the team on Saturday.

Other Skipper Premiership matches on Saturday see Nadi take on Namosi, Malolo face defending champions BLK Nadroga while minnows Navosa meet Naitasiri.
