President Major General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote yesterday received the credentials of the non-resident High Commissioner Designate of Ghana to Fiji Edwin Nii Adjei at Borron House.
High Commissioner Adjei presented his credentials after inspecting a guard of honour mounted by officers from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
Prior to his appointment, he was appointed Chair, First Consular Consultation between Ghana and China (2017) and Governing Board of the Koffi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (March 2015 to date).
He was also the Acting Chief Director for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration in Ghana.
The new non-resident High Commissioner is based in Canberra, Australia.
