Final year journalism students from the University of the South Pacific (USP) visited the Fiji Sun newsroom following the publication of the new issue of their newspaper Wansolwara.

Wansolwara is printed and distributed by the Fiji Sun as part of its support for the USP Journalism programme.

During discussions with Fiji Sun Publisher/CEO Peter Lomas he told the students how the Fiji Sun now employs more graduates as journalists than all the rest of the Fijian news media combined.

USP graduates now in senior leadership roles at the Fiji Sun include Managing Editors Ranoba Baoa (Production), Rosi Doviverata (Digital) and Maraia Vula (Business), general manager advertising and business development Rachna Lal and IT/Digital Supervisor Atama Tamanilo.
