FACT Semis In Lautoka

The semifinals of the 2018 Vodafone Fiji FACT will be played at Churchill Park in Lautoka, says Mohammed Yusuf.
The Fiji Football Association chief executive officer confirmed the semifinals would be played on Sunday while the date for the final would be decided later.
The semifinals were scheduled to be played at Ratu Cakobau Park on Saturday with the final on Sunday.
Yusuf said they had no choice after Nausori Town Council closed Ratu Cakobau Park due to the wet weather in the southern division for the past few days.
“We have no choice but to shift the semi-finals due to the adverse weather condition which is disrupting the Nausori Town Council to prepare the ground,”Yusuf said.

“Churchill Park is booked for rugby on Friday and Saturday so we decided to play the semifinals on Sunday and the final at a later date.”
Yusuf said there would be no pre-sale of tickets but urged fans to get their tickets from the gates.
“We will not be able to pre-sale the tickets but the fans can buy from the gates for $15 for Pavilion A, $10 for pavilion B and embankment is $5.
“The first semifinal between Labasa and Nadi will be played at 1pm while the second semifinal between Lautoka and Rewa at 3pm,” Yusuf said.
