Nawaka District School will compete for the second year in the National Schools Swimming Championship which starts at the Damodar City Aquatic Centre today.

The school won two medals last year.

Team manager Suliasi Ratu said the students would be giving their best to win more medals.

Ratu said they are grateful to the support of the sponsors and parents during their preparation.

“We will compete in the under-8 to the under-14 grades,” Ratu said

“Our aim is exposure for our swimmers who will take part for the first time.

“We are looking forward to our first event and hope to win more medals at the end of the competition.”
