Tourism Fiji is happy to announce the arrival of well-known Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz who is returning to Fiji as part of a campaign to promote Fiji to the India market.

Following a successful Travelogue that was filmed in Fiji last year in partnership with Times of India, Tourism Fiji and Fiji Airways, the young performer has continued to positively promote Fiji on her social media channels, like Instagram, which has more than eight million followers worldwide.

The actress loved Fiji so much that she promised she’d return to see more of what Fiji has to offer.

Making good on that promise, an ecstatic Ms D’Cruz said: “I’m so excited about going to Fiji again! The beautiful beaches, the wonderful weather, and the warm hospitality of the lovely Fijians, can’t wait to experience it all again!”

India is an important market that has significant potential for Fiji and through engaging celebrities such as Ms D’Cruz, Tourism Fiji showcases the very best of the destination through her travels and experiences.

Minister for Industry, Trade, Tourism, Lands and Mineral Resources Faiyaz Koya, said: “Fiji has obviously touched Ileana’s heart and we look forward to welcome her again to help showcase the best of our home to Fiji’s growing market of India”

Ms D’Cruz will be in Fiji from Sunday until June 11. She will be exploring different regions including Nadi, the Coral Coast, the Mamanuca Islands, Pacific Harbour and Savusavu.
