The Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team came from behind to beat Argentina 28-19 in their pool opener of the London Sevens at Twickenham last night.

Coach Gareth Baber stressed to the players at halftime the importance of keeping possession.

Individual play and poor options marred Fiji’s play as captain Seremaia Tuwai had to be replaced in the second half.

Toulon duo Semi Radradra and Josua Tuisova were impressive in defence, but still need time to settle into the sevens code.

The Fijians scored through Vatemo Ravouvou and Sevuloni Mocenacagi for a 14-12 lead at halftime. After trailing 14-19, they struck back with tries to Waisea Nacuqu and Amenoni Nasilasila.
