The Kamal Swamy- coached Lautoka football side have left behind their semifinal loss in the Vodafone Fiji FACT semifinal and shifted their focus on winning the Vodafone Premier League.

The Blues host Ba in the Vodafone Premier League clash at Churchill Park on Sunday.

Lautoka FC manager Paul Abraham said their team played their hearts out and were without six players from the OFC Champions League.

“They did their best but it was not our day,” he said.

“We thank our fans and we will go back to the drawing board as we will regroup and try to win the national league.”

Ba failed to qualify for the Fiji FACT semifinals and is expected to be out to restore lost glory.

Meanwhile, the Labasa football side are determined to maintain their unbeaten run in the Fiji FACT when they face Rewa in the final at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori on Sunday.

The Babasiga Lions beat Nadi 2-0 in the semifinal and defender Ilisoni Logaivau was the toast of the side when he scored twice.

Rewa coach Marika Rodu is confident  of a good outing as they want to avenge their 4-0 loss to Labasa during their pool game.
