The Fiji Airways Fijiana XVs rugby squad had their first training session at the Pacific Theological College ground, Suva, yesterday. The Ro Alivereti Doviverata- coached side went into camp on Sunday night.

Speaking to SUNsports, Fijiana XVs strength and conditioning coach, Louis Uluibau said they are confident of doing well on the tour.

“Most of these players have been training hard and I believe they will give their best,” he said.

“We have been working on our strength during our gym session and we’re looking into improving our performance during training. For the team’s fitness we are getting there.”

The Fijiana XVs leave for Sydney on Friday and are scheduled to play against the Brumbies Women’s side on June 11 in Canberra and then the Newcastle Women on June 16 in Newcastle. – Edited by  Leone Cabenatabua
