The Labasa Football Association is calling on the Babasiga Lions fans to come out in numbers when they meet Rewa in the Vodafone Fiji FACT final at Ratu Cakobau Park this Sunday.

Association’s secretary Varun Anand said the team, under the guidance of Coach Anand Sami, had delivered what they promised and that was to reach the final.

“The players deliver the result as expected over two weekends,” Anand said.

“Our aim is to win the tournament and we are confident of achieving that as the last time we won this annual event was in 2015.

We want to bring back the glory to Babasiga.

“Our coach has been doing a good work and players have coordinated well and confident to face the Delta Tigers.

Although three of our players are injured, they have been given time to rest and should recover to rejoin the squad.

Labasa qualified for the final after beating Nadi 2-0 in the semifinal last weekend at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
