Josua ‘Bus’ Tuisova is grateful to contribute in the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team winning the London 7s on Monday.

And he is targeting of making the Rugby Sevens World Cup team and winning the Melrose Cup in San Francisco next month.

Tuisova and Toulon teammate Semi Radradra added more firepower to the team in a stunning display over two days capping off with a 21-17 win over South Africa in the Cup final.

He arrived into the country yesterday to prepare for his wedding on June 29.

He was accompanied by his wife Taru, two- month old son Timoci and mother-in-law were greeted by relatives who draped young Timoci with masi (bark cloth with rust-coloured and black printed design)  to mark his first arrival in the country…

“I always feel good to represent my country. I’m always ready and grateful to help. Playing with my fellow Fijians is always good. I feel proud to play with the local boys and to win the London 7s and beating South Africa in the final was the icing on the cake.

“Semi and I always talk to the boys not to change the way they play and to play their own.

“I am looking forward to the wedding on June 29 and afterwards join the team in Uprising Beach Resort in Deuba for camp. I hope to make the team for the Rugby Sevens World Cup as well.

“I’ve already spoken to the management as I need time to provide everything for the wedding.

“I have invited some overseas-based players to come and celebrate my big day.”

Tuisova also revealed that he had opted out of the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians June test internationals to concentrate on trying to make the RSWC squad.

“ We won the rugby sevens gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and the next big one is the Melrose Cup in San Francisco next month,”Tuisova said.
