Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf was pleased with the turnout during the Vodafone Fiji FACT semifinals.

The semis were played between Labasa and Nadi while Lautoka battled Rewa that was held at Churchill Park, Lautoka last weekend.

The final between Rewa and Labasa will be played at Ratu Cakobau Park this Sunday.

“As expected good crowd turned up but the beauty of it is that the ground is good and good football is being played,” Yusuf said.

“Hundreds of people braved the cold conditions and came out in numbers in their respective colours to cheer their teams on.

“This is an encouraging sign for the Fiji Football considering that the INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants (BOG) will be held in Lautoka in August.”

Yusuf is confident of getting a bumper crowd for the B.O.G tournament.

“We are expecting around 3000 to 5000 people per day for the upcoming B.O.G,” he said.
