Coke Winners For San Francisco

Six Fijians were the lucky winners of an all-expenses paid trip to San Francisco, USA to watch the Sevens Rugby World Cup in July.

The winners took part in the Meet and Greet promotion by Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji.

The promotion was first launched at the Coca-Cola Games on April 19 and ended on Monday, June 4.

The draw took place at the Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji headquarters at Laucala Beach on Thursday.

The major prize includes airfares, accommodation, transfers and spending money of $2000 while 100 winners of the secondary prizes included one of 100 cartons of 330ml Coke No Sugar.

Coca-Cola Amatil (Fiji) Ltd (CCAF) marketing manager Felisha Tuiloma said all winners and chaperones are insured and as always Coke surprises and delights with either a tour or something special for the winners.

“We make sure that we take them all the way and make them comfortable and make sure they have a really good time,” she said.

“We have had good feedback from our winners and they said they had a really good time and a trip they have never dreamed off.

“We have been having a good partnership with the media, so we ensure that we try and let everyone know about it so they have an equal opportunity to this promotion.”

Tuiloma said this year they have also ventured into social media and this has made a huge difference.

Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji general manager Roger Hare said they started out with 16,000 entries and by Thursday received over 23,000 entries.

“This is a fantastic experience giving this all out today and with the sponsorship arrangement with the world cup I am sure that they will have a wonderful experience,” Hare said.

“With the finishing of the World Sevens Series in Paris this weekend we will know whether they are the World Series champion since they are the Olympic champions and hopefully the World Cup champions,” he added.
