Kumar In Charge Of Lions
Former Labasa goal-keeper Shamal Kumar will help prepare the Babasiga Lions against Lautoka in the Vodafone Premier League at Subrail Park this Saturday.
This was confirmed by the Labasa Football Association secretary Varun Anand yesterday.
“Our coach Bal Sanju Reddy and Anand Sami will both be away for national duties,” Anand said.
“We are thankful to Sami for his assistance and Kumar will help prepare the side.”
“The loss to Rewa in the Vodafone Fiji FACT over the weekend is now history and we need to starts afresh against Lautoka.
“It is important that we improve our standing in the points table.
“Our aim for the league is to do better compared to last year.
“Some of our injured players include Ashneel Raju but they have been given time to recover.” The match will be at 1:30pm.
