Nadolo: Focus Is Now, Not RWC

Nemani Nadolo believes it will be a tough earning a spot in the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians team at the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
The Montpellier wing joined the Flying Fijians training on Monday ahead of the second round of Pacific Nations Cup against Georgia this Saturday.
The Namatakula, Nadroga, native said his aim is now, this season and not the RWC.
“We all look forward to it, some of us have another season with our clubs, RWC is not in my mind,” Nadolo said.
“But I got to perform at my club as we have games in Europe. But for me it’s making sure that I take my opportunities when I come here.
“Hopefully November I will make it and then I worry about the RWC.
“You see the talent that we have here, it’s going to be tough to make the squad,” Nadolo said.
The bulky winger was impressed with the inclusion of young players.
“We need young players, as we don’t have long to go in terms of rugby, most of us are in our 30s and we need to start bringing in young talents.”
Nadolo is wary of the Georgians forward pack.
“They are tough bunch, no nonsense upfront they have some of the best forwards in the world, I’m sure their scrums is one of the go to this week.
“Their set pieces will be very good but we just got to make sure that we prepare well for that. They will try to take all the points, they did it against Tonga they slowly suffocated them and got the results last week,” he said.
