Semi At No. 13

Somosomo, Taveuni native Semi Radradra is likely to earn his debut for the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians team against Georgia this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
Radradra joined training on Monday and had his first intense training yesterday in the No. 13 jumper.
Head coach John McKee strongly believes Radradra is more comfortable at centre.
“He has been running at No 13 during training and he’s comfortable in that position and that’s probably where we will put him this weekend,” McKee said.
Upfront battle
McKee has been impressed with the workrate of the forwards during preparation and is aware of the battle the Georgians will have upfront.
“We know the way the Georgians play and we don’t expect any different this week,”he said
“We have speed and skills in our backline and that means we need to win the forward battle and put them under pressure and create opportunities for us.
“The forwards have done a lot of work during their scrummaging sessions and lineouts. We understand it will also be the important part of Georgia’s training as well,” he said.
Qera can play
Fiji Airways Flying Fijians captain Akapusi Qera is cleared to play and will lead his pack against the Lelos this Saturday.
Qera was cited following a foul play against Samoa last Saturday. After the judicial hearing on Monday, McKee said Qera was cleared to play.
Backline
“We need more intensity from last week’s game but we need to be more positive in our attack. “
McKee rates wing Vereniki Goneva and first five –eighth Ben Volavola.
“Goneva loves playing for his country and wear the Flying Fijians jersey, great to see him bringing the flair from England.
“Volavola’s spot on with his kicking when the pressure is on,” Mckee said.
