Road users are requested to be aware of the temporary lane restriction, adhere to traffic management set up around the site and drive to the conditions.

Traffic has been reduced to a single lane on a section of the Queens Road near Bavu Village, almost 21 kilometres from Nadi, because of a sink hole.

This is the advice from the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA).

The location of the sink hole is near Bavu Village along Queens Road between Lomawai Road (leads to Momi Bay) and Bavu Road (road leads to Bavu Village).

It is approximately 20.57km from Nadi Town (Temple Roundabout), if travelling towards Suva from Nadi. FRA engineers and contractors are on site managing traffic.

Road users are requested to be aware of the temporary lane restriction, adhere to traffic management set up around the site and drive to the conditions.
