The International School Nadi 2018 Fun Day was celebrated yesterday with the theme  “Anti-Bullying”.

Backed by numerous sponsors  the annual event was celebrated in a spirit of fun. Those who patronised the event enjoyed delicious food and drinks, exciting games and activities, accompanied by live entertainment.

ISN Parent Teachers Association (PTA) vice chair Jane Griffiths said: “Our campaign theme for this year is Anti-Bullying.

“This theme was rolled out by each of the school house teams.

“We welcomed everyone to our school to join us in sharing the message that bullying is not allowed.

“Our sponsors have been amazing, helping us with all sorts of fantastic equipment, supplies and donations.

“They are incredibly important to our school and represent many of our existing communities.”

She said the Fun Day was bigger and better this year, with a full day of fun and entertainment.

“This year it is a carnival and sports day with a relaxed afternoon on the lawn with great food, live music from Love 33 and new friends,” Mrs Griffiths said.

“The annual Fun Day is such an important event for students, teachers as well as the whole community to get together in the spirit of fun.

“Months of planning took place to make this day a special one for everyone who attended.”

Cool new games for kids of all ages (and adults) this year – paintball target, soccer kick, and asylum haunted house and a giant 30m long slip and slide were part of the event.

Adults too had things to do like pre-loved goods for sale donated by parents, Flame Tree’s pop up plant nursery and engineering display and the beer and wine tent featuring cocktails from Marriott!

International food for lunch and dinner from Flavours of Fiji, South Pacific Butchery Company, Sofitel Resort and Spa and Marriott International were also on offer.

Various business houses supported the Fun Day including Bakels, International Shop Fittings, Tulsi Construction, Big Bula Waterpark, Sofitel Fiji Resort, Plantation Island Resort and DoubleTree by Hilton, Staging Connections, Clyde, Flametree, Aqua Pacific, Premium Signs, Media Partners and Party & Events Fiji.
