Military sets focus on I.T systems

Information systems are an integral part of any organisation, including the military.
Its benefits are enormous because they provide any user the ability to access information needed to do any task effectively and efficiently.
IT systems are usually the wheels that drive daily operations at all levels in any workforce.
RFMF Chief Staff Officer Communication Information Systems Lieutenant (Navy) Laitia Rika said his staff’s contribution to the provision and maintenance of Information Communication Technology capability with integrated and secure connectivity within the RFMF has been recognized, thus the awarding of promotion within its ranks.
Those receiving their promotions as Warrant Officer Class Two are: Tirisani Bauli (Warrant Officer Communications), Reginald Molia (Warrant Officer Compliance) and Loruama Teudaro (Network Administrator) including Corporal Misaele Vunibola and Lance Corporal Andy Rocokovata as Assistant PC Support.
While handing over their new rank, the Officer Commanding Strategic Headquarters Unit Major Lepani Damuni thanked the IT staff for their dedication to their duty and urged them to continue the good work because with their new ranks came a lot of responsibility.
