Four former national rugby stars Peniame Narisia, Viliame Ratudradra, Peceli Kina and Samisoni Navatu were honoured by the Fiji Rugby Union at Churchill Park, Lautoka yesterday.

They now join a long line of rugby heroes who had donned the Fijian jersey and were presented their Test caps as a token of appreciation of their contribution to rugby in the country.

“We’re really honoured and thankful to FRU for recognising our contribution to Fiji rugby, and it is indeed a great honour to have represented my country on the international stage,” Kina said.

Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou said, it was long overdue but this was one way for Fiji to thank them.

The FRU stated that; Naresia made his debut in 1972 and played in 7 Tests; Ratudradra made his debut in June 1976 and played 12 Tests; Kina made his debut in 1976 and played 13 tests while Navatu made his debut in 1979 and played 4 Tests.
