Totori Strike Lifts Blues

Striker Benjamin Totori was the toast of the Lautoka football side when they beat Nadi 1-0 in the Vodafone Premier League clash at Prince Charles Park, Nadi on Friday night.
Totori broke the hearts of Nadi fans when he fired home the lone goal in the 31st minute.
What happened: With a goal down Nadi came back fighting with striker Inia Boko leading the charge.
It was not to be with veteran Ilaitia Tuilau working wonders in defence as the Blues held the Nadi strikers at bay.
Halftime: Lautoka 1-0 Nadi.
This continued on in the second spell but it was Lautoka who were determined on hold on to their unbeaten run. Both teams brought in their substitutes but could not score any goals.
Big plays: Totori and Kavaia Rawaqa dictated Lautoka’s moves in the second half but were not able to find the target. Star turn: When Totori saw an opening in the Nadi defence and made no mistake with his attempt.
Comments: Lautoka coach Kamal Swamy said: “We are still undefeated but I think the ground condition is very poor. Nadi is a good side and we were lucky to score. It was a good effort by the captain in moving up to create an overlap.”
Nadi coach Bavs Khan said: “We are still rebuilding. Congratulations to Lautoka as they are a good side and have prepared well. I guess there is no excuse as we now hope to give Ba a good game.”
