Highlanders getting all their top players over, says winger
Rookie Highlanders wing Tevita Nabura was eager to be back home and support his side as they take on the Chiefs in Saturday’s Super Rugby clash at the ANZ Stadium, Suva.
The 26-year-old Nakorosule, Naitasiri native was part of the Highlander advance party which arrived yesterday.
He was joined by lock forward Joshua Dickson and centre Patelesio Tomkinson.
Speaking to SUNsports, Nabura said heading into the match he has been in contact with Waisake Naholo.
“Our families are excited and hyped up for the event,” he said.
“It is a great opportunity to come back home and get away from the cold weather in New Zealand.
“The boys are excited of Fiji and playing in front of their Fijian fans. We (and Naholo) have been in contact with our families and friends and they are coming to watch.
“There will be a lot of tickets and hopefully we’ll get enough so we could get the whole family in.”
The former Ratu Kadavulevu School head boy said he was impressed with the current performance of his former school in the Coke Zero Deans Trophy.
“The RKS is currently an untouchable team right now and my advice to them is to keep striving and keep chasing their dreams.”
Nabura is urging everyone to buy their tickets and get down to the ANZ Stadium to back the Pulse Energy Highlanders team.
The match kicks-off at 7.30pm.
