Sowakula and the team were greeted with the sea of red, white and black from his friends and families at the Nausori International Airport yesterday.

Sowakula said he was happy to back home and is looking forward to the match on Saturday.

“I am really grateful and happy to be part of the team and coming here in Fiji to play,” Sowakula said.

“Seeing the family here to greet me is quite overwhelming.”

Sowakula said he is still grasping the fact he is part of the Chiefs team and will keep working hard.

“It was a surprise for me to have the chance to come and play here for the Chiefs, I am thankful to be here and play with the boys,” Sowakula said.

“Earning a spot was really hard and every week has been tough competition in training and I will have to do my best in every game.

“I have been hearing that the family will be hiring two buses from Nadroga and hopefully I get a chance to play.

“It will be a good, the whole team is looking forward to it.”

The game kicks off at 7.35pm and gates open at 4pm.
