Two men charged with stealing alcohol and cash in February this year appeared at the High Court in Suva yesterday.
Eremasi Rinasau and Timoci Soro appeared before Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe charged with one count of each aggravated robbery. It is alleged that on February 17, 2018, in Nasinu the two stole Fiji Gold beer bottles and cash from Etika Kafoa with a value of more than $50.
The charges were read and understood by the two men, who pleaded not guilty. State prosecutor Juleen Fatiaki told the court that the State had six witnesses in and requested 14 days to file information to the court. Rinasau has been remanded in custody while Soro’s bail has been extended.
