The Fiji Airways Fijiana team marched back into camp this week to begin preparations for the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco next month.

Fiji Airways Fijiana Head Coach, Iliesa Tanivula, said that following their review of their games at the 2017/2018 HSBC World 7s Series, they had identified areas that needed to be worked on.

“The team has managed to recuperate following a busy 2017/2018 HSBC World 7s Series schedule, and the girls have been responding well to the training program that we set out for them this week.”

“Our main aim is to work on our weaknesses and improve on them, moving forward.”

The Fiji Airways Fijiana team finished sixth at the HSBC Paris 7s and ninth overall in the HSBC World Sevens Series standings.

“One of the areas that we need to work on is our fitness and to better our skills, identify the mistakes and improve on them.”

The Ana Maria Roqica captained side, play their first RWC 7s match against Spain on Saturday, 21 July at the AT&T Park in San Francisco.
