The 35-year-old woman who is alleged to have driven a car into the Rewa River on May 6, 2018 causing the death of her four-year-old daughter, will take her plea on July 16, 2018.

Rozleen Razia Khan appeared before High Court judge Justice Vinsent Perera in Suva.

She was represented by a lawyer from the Legal Aid Commission.

Khan told Justice Perera that she wanted to discontinue services from the commission and would engage a private lawyer.

Her lawyer from the commission then returned disclosures to her, and his application to withdraw as counsel was granted.

State lawyer Zenith Zunaid served the accused with information and disclosures.

Khan has been further remanded in custody.
