Organisers, Sponsors Renew Bula Deals

Digicel Fiji is sponsoring the event for a 5th consecutive year
Organisers as well as sponsors anticipate an exciting Bula Festival in Nadi this year.
This was after Digicel Fiji extended its partnership with the Bula Festival Trust for the 2018 Nadi Bula Festival.
This is Digicel Fiji’s fifth successive year as the major sponsor of the annual festival.
It will be held at the Koroivolu Ground and Prince Charles Park from July 14 to 21.
Digicel regional manager–west Florence Eyre said the company was delighted to support the festival, which would see contestants and companies supporting them engage in fundraising for charity.
“This is to help the people of Nadi,” Ms Eyre said.
“We are happy to continue as major sponsor and I would like to thank the organisers for giving us this opportunity and accepting our partnership for the fifth year.
“We are proud to be associated with this festival, which has been organised for 58 years.
“We are proud to partner with the tourist town’s largest community gathering, especially when Nadi is going to be declared a city next month.
“I am sure the people of the jet-set town are looking forward to see Nadi become the third city in the country,” she added.
The sponsorship deal was not disclosed at the event.
However, Nadi Bula Festival Association president, Ravin Nadan was appreciative to Digicel Fiji for its continued sponsorship.
“The sponsorship will help our committee host another successful festival, as we continue to raise funds for the needy and for noble causes,” Mr Nadan said.
A pre-Bula night professional boxing programme will kick-off proceedings on July 13 at Prince Charles Park.
